Eugenia Memorial Fund

Dear Cousins,

If you would like to donate to a fund in Eugenia's memory, her children would like people to contribute to the Organ Fund of First Congregational Church of Palo Alto (address below).

Tinker sends this message:

Mother and Dad both loved music deeply, as you know, and their church was a very important part of their lives. The 100 year old organ was in need of extensive repairs (again) and the committee in charge decided that it would be best to purchase and install a new organ. Pipe organs are extremely expensive!!! My parents contributed generously toward the Organ Fund. Unfortunately, my Dad passed away before the new organ could be installed. However, when the new organ did arrive during this past year in an enormous truck FROM QUEBEC!!!, your beloved Aunt Eugenia was one of those who had assembled at the church for the exciting fun of carrying the pipes into the Sanctuary from that huge truck! Can't you just see your Aunt Eugenia carrying organ pipes into the Sanctuary with a beautiful big joyful smile on her face?? She loved music so much, and always loved being helpful and useful. The new organ is now installed, and is spectacular sounding and looking!!! Mother was so thrilled about that new organ!!!

If you wish, please send donations in her memory to: Organ Fund, First Congregational Church of Palo Alto, 1985 Louis Rd., Palo Alto, CA 94303.
